About the designer
Meghan has completed projects in Production/Set Design, retail, restaurant, multi-unit residential and mixed-use spaces. As a Production Designer and Art Director she has worked with clients including Chevy Cares, Live Nation and independent filmmakers. Her experience encompasses independent short and feature length films as well as commercial work and web-based projects. In addition to her design work she is a professor of Production Design at George Mason University.
With experience at every phase of creation, she brings a multitude of skills to each project, including conceptualization and development of style and function through construction and workflow oversight. Meghan is well versed in working in fast-paced and high-delivery environments.
Meghan grew up in Chicago and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University. Meghan has worked as part of the in-house design group at Crate & Barrel, the production team for WBEZ Chicago Public Radio, as a public artist for Archi-treasures and as project manager and architectural and interior designer for numerous residential and commercial projects. In addition to her professional experience Meghan earned a Master of Arts in the Humanities degree. She has danced all her life and has performed professionally.
